Hoops and Yoga For MIND Charity
I am teaming up with my lovely Yogi friend - Zoë to offer a combination of Yoga and Hula Hooping in the beautiful Chawton House Rose Garden (weather permitting - Dyers Barn if rain) on Friday18th August at 9.15am - 10.45am.
We will be gently Hooping (waist and hand) and trying some yoga poses to boost balance in the body together with the mind.. It’s not all serious poses - it will be fun as well as a little challenging! Zoë will lead a gentle yoga practice to relax and stretch, together with some breath work to finish the session.
We are asking for a donation of £20 which will go to MIND Charity for this event.

Stay in the moment with some Happy Hula Hooping in a Fun Fitness Class where you’ll engage your core muscles and sense how your body moves to keep the hoop rotating around your waist. Relax into the movement and feel your way through the exercise
You’ll build stamina, core & back strength as well as keep your spine flexible and you’ll learn that with a little Patience, Perseverance and Practice anything is possible!
A energising fitness which tones your whole body and floods your body with vitality and happy vibes!
Classes promote Mindfulness, Balance and Relaxation carefully entwined with Fun and Energy

Health Questionnaire & Terms & Conditions for Class Participation
For most people physical activity should not pose a problem or hazard.
The following questionnaire has been designed to identify the small number of people for whom physical activity might not be appropriate or those who should take medical advice concerning the type of activity most suitable for them. Common sense is your best guide for answering these few questions.
Please read them carefully and answer - YES/NO to the question as it applies to you.

Epilepsy
Asthma
High Blood Pressure
A Heart Condition
Frequent Chest Pains
Joint problems e.g. spine, knees
Surgery in the last six months
Gastric Band/Bypass surgery in the last 9 months (Hula Hoop Fitness class participants)
Or you pregnant or recently had a baby
Do you suffer from fainting or dizziness?
Are you taking any prescribed medicine which may affect your physical abilities?
Is there anything else which may affect your participation in exercise?
By registering and participating in Fiona’s classes / events you confirm and agree to the following Terms and Conditions -
You have read the health questionnaire above and should you have answered any questions with ‘YES’ - you confirm you have sought advice from your GP and accept full responsibility for your own health and are certain and confident it is safe for you to participate in classes.
You accept full responsibility for your own health and safety whilst taking part in classes.
You accept your participation in theses classes is voluntary and at your own risk.
You release any liability for any claims, demands, injuries, actions or cause of actions to your person connected with Fiona Hodder’s Hula Hoop Fitness classes / Fitness classes /events.
You have carefully read the above with a full definite and clear understanding and freely enter into the agreement of this waiver release.
