Using a ‘weight’ during exercise helps bone density and muscle tone as well as strength - and using a Hula Hoop is a great alternative to standard dumb-bells and even floor based body weight exercise - and adds that crucial element of fun and enjoyment.
Hula Hooping is a low impact exercise where the meditative movements tones your body. Turn up the pace for a cardiovascular workout- boosting heart health and burn fat. (You can burn up to 100 calories per 10 minutes of hooping.) You will increase endurance, improve circulation, increase flexibility of the spine, fight stress and improve your mood!
You will build self-confidence, increase the ‘feel good factor,’ get motivated, improve balance, concentration and coordination and gain more energy!
A strong ‘Core’ means a strong ‘Back’…
Strengthen your back and improve posture (Hula Hooping can release aches and pains due to bad posture.) It’s a must for core strength and back health and together with nourishing your body with a healthy diet you will start to see your six pack! (and loose inches from your waist!)
These classes are designed for ANY level of fitness… learning the basics of keeping the Hoop rotating around the waist... then progressing to movement from the spot and a few off body tricks which will impress your friends!
